These photos were taken on a single, beautiful spring afternoon with a sunny blue sky in Le Cimitière du Père Lachase (Pere Lachaise cemetery) in Paris, France. The photographs in the gallery show the diversity of style and social custom in burying the dead through the diversity of graves, tombs, and mausoleums. All images were taken using a Holga lens affixed to a digital SLR camera, which gives them the unique blurring and lighting effects.
